Bilateral meetings with President Berdimuhamedov and other world leaders are planned
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, on Thursday for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow.
During his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz will participate in a forum commemorating the International Year of Peace and Trust 2025, the International Day of Neutrality and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
He is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with President Berdimuhamedov, as well as other world leaders attending the event.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Senator Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Khan Leghari, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi and Talha Barki.
