Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco got a head start on the festive period on Monday evening, stepping out for a family outing that even beat the British royal family into the Christmas spotlight.
Alongside them were Albert’s younger sister, Princess Stephanie, and Stephanie’s daughter, Camille Gottlieb, although the couple’s 11-year-old twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, were noticeably absent.
The group attended the annual Monaco Under the Stars show at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille, a dazzling spectacle mixing contemporary dance and hip-hop, staged by famous French director and professional dancer Hassan El Hajjami.
Before taking their seats, members of the royal family mingled with performers, with Albert reportedly enticed by a teddy bear on display, ruffling his ear as if he were part of the royal entourage.
Meanwhile, Charlene and Stephanie admired the intricate costumes, clearly impressed by the artistry on display.
The event also highlighted the charitable side of the Monegasque royal family, with profits being donated to the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the Monaco SPA.
Princess Stéphanie, a former model, swimsuit designer and singer with two studio albums to her credit, joined her family to support the festive cause, demonstrating that the Monegasque royal family knows how to mix glamour.
