Prince Andrew faces a new threat concerning his royal title after the younger brother of King Charles was stripped of his military titles and his patronages.

The report indicates that Princess Eugenie and Béatrice’s father undergo increasing pressure to give up her royal titles following her withdrawal from public tasks.
Prince Andrew still has several titles such as Duke of York, Earl of Inverness and Baron Killyleagh.

The survey has revealed that more than 70% of York residents think it should lose its title.
The publication also cited Rachael Maskell, MP for central York, whom she believes that the royal title of Andrew – the Duke of York should be withdrawn to “interrupt” his association with the city.
Prince Andrew’s mother, Queen Elizabeth II, had granted the titles of Duke and the Duchess of York to him and her former wife Sarah Ferguson as a wedding gift in 1986.
