Prince Andrew will be “summoned” in the new investigation into Jeffrey Epstein

Prince Andrew to be ‘summoned’ to provide evidence in new Jeffrey Epstein investigation

Prince Andrew will be summoned to testify about his links to recently convicted pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein before a US committee.

Stephen Lynch, a senior member of the U.S. House Oversight Committee, said he plans to speak to the prince “about his involvement in all of this.”

He added that he was “sure” an invitation would be extended to Andrew to reveal his involvement with Epstein.

Presenter Victoria Derbyshire asked Stephen about the BBC Newsnight: “Would you consider inviting Prince Andrew to speak to your committee?”

He replied: “We would be extremely interested to hear from Prince Andrew regarding his involvement in all of this, yes.”

It is pertinent to mention that it would be Andrew’s own decision if he wishes to testify since he cannot be subpoenaed to attend a hearing in the United States as he is a British citizen.

The committee has its hands full with new documents and evidence, which also includes Andrew’s name.

In newly leaked emails shared by Mail Sunday, it was revealed that Andrew remained in contact with Epstein after his conviction in 2011. This contradicts his claim that he cut ties with his friend in 2010.

At the same time, the posthumous memoir of his late accuser, Virginia Giuffre, also shared more details about earlier claims that she was forced to have sex with Andrew on three occasions. The father of two has always denied these accusations.

As a result of this never-ending scandal, Prince Andrew announced that he would no longer use his title of Duke of York and other honors.
