Prince Harry would have offered King Charles “apologies” on behalf of his wife Meghan Markle.

The first conversation between Meghan and Charles in two years took place during the recent visit to Harry in London earlier in September, during which the Duke of Sussex had apologized for the hurtful behavior of his wife Meghan.
“He recognized that some of Meghan’s public remarks had been hurtful. That Charles accepted, he is not clear, but the exchange was certainly emotional,” said a source.
“The call was brief, but he gained weight,” said a second source. “Meghan told the king that she wanted to see repaired relationships. Harry was impatient to show them that the family bond is still there and that he could be rebuilt, especially for the good of children. He is determined to feel like a united family again.”
“Meghan’s call was more symbolic than substantial – no one thinks that a brief greeting can cancel years of tension,” said another main initiate to the publisher.
