Prince Harry and Meghan Markle show united front at glitzy party amid tensions

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave a fitting response to swirling Netflix rumors and various legal battles as the two stepped out for a glamorous appearance.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are expected to visit Australia in a few days, arrived at a private residence on Saturday, which hosted Season 2 of Netflix’s BEEF, Montecito Tastemaker.

The most notable attendance was that of the streaming giant’s CEO, Ted Sarandos, and his wife, Nicole Avant. Both couples showed a united front as they posed for photos together and appeared in good spirits despite ongoing speculation.

This is the first time the Sussexes have been seen with Ted Sarandos after Variety reported last month that there was tension between the two following the contract fallout.

Sources had insisted that Ted was avoiding Meghan and that society was “done” with the couple and their “recycled” ideas. Other reports also claimed that Netflix cut ties with Meghan’s As Ever over the others.

Even though the streaming giant and the Sussexes made it clear on the record that there was no problem, skepticism persisted over the issue, with company internals painting a completely different story.

Meanwhile, Harry’s attitude also appeared relaxed despite the news that his former charity was suing him for defamation. Harry, long with Prince Seeiso and their many trustees, had left the beloved charity Sentebale after an argument.

A spokesperson for Harry described the claims as “damaging” and “offensive”.
