Prince Harry reportedly urged Meghan Markle to join him on a trip to the UK.
After the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s appearance at the Kardashian party, insiders claimed Harry wanted to reconnect with his roots.
The sources said Closer Magazine that if Meghan had a “dream night” at Kris Jenner’s party, Harry, on the other hand, found the experience “awkward”.
Now King Charles’s son is ‘begging’ his wife to plan a trip to the UK.
“He’s really homesick at the moment and is begging Meghan to arrange a trip or two to the UK, but she won’t hear of it,” the source explained.
Adding: “For her, this is the time to grab the opportunity with both hands and there is no reason or excuse for Harry to be whining or acting like a brat.”
“She needs him healthy and playing the game now, instead of pining for the boring old life they left behind five years ago. She just won’t tolerate it,” the source noted.
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in California after leaving royal duties, the couple socialized with “a very different crowd.”
“There was a time when the Obamas, George Clooney and even Steven Spielberg were invited to dinner, but that didn’t last, and now they find themselves in a completely different social environment,” the source said.
However, the Duke of Sussex has never “been one to want to meet people just to make connections,” the source noted. “Harry has never been one to care about status or networking, he’s perfectly content to keep his circle small, but in a way he’s quite a snob.”
Still, Harry “understands” that his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, “has to be there to build her brand, and he respects that, but that doesn’t mean he likes it or wants to get carried away.”
“He finds it all very performative and fake, while Meghan seems to be thriving in the whole scene. They are not aligned at all and only time will tell if Harry will continue to smile and bear it,” the source also added.
