Firefighters are on the front lines battling deadly fires in Los Angeles, and Prince Harry continues to support them in their work.
This week, the Duke of Sussex visited the Salinas Fire Department in California. There, he boosted the “morale” of the teams and stroked the firefighters’ therapy dogs.
In the Instagram post, the department shared: “Salinas Fire Department facility dogs Cruz and Taffy, along with their friends, have actively contributed to the Los Angeles firefighting efforts, providing a essential support for firefighters and those affected.
“In an inspiring turn of events, they also had the opportunity to meet Prince Harry, known for his philanthropic work and advocacy on various social issues, including disaster relief,” the caption read.
“This meeting not only boosted their morale, but also highlighted the importance of community and collaboration in the face of such devastating challenges,” he concludes.
Harry, however, was alone during his visit to the department, but he and his wife Meghan Markle had already donated to relief efforts following the Los Angeles wildfires.
