Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were ridiculed by their Netflix documentary.
The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, who revealed that they had extended their agreement with the streaming giant, compromised less money.
Journalist Richard Eden said: “It is definitely a slap opposite. Let’s face the facts. Harry himself in his interview with Oprah Winfrey talked about the way he needed money and he needed it quickly because security and money had been cut off from his father.”
Speaking of the New Deal announced earlier this week, Eden said: “This is not everything I heard. It is only the first look the only money they will receive is if the programs are ordered.”
During his interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry spoke of signing his agreement with Netflix on money.
“We hadn’t thought about it,” said Harry. “So there were all kinds of different options. And look, from my point of view, everything I needed was enough money to be able to pay for security to ensure the safety of my family.”
