Prince Harry has returned to the spotlight with a new video in which he celebrates his return to the UK, which is expected to take place in the near future.
The Duke of Sussex’s Invictus Games team has released a video showcasing special moments from 2025.
Notably, the background voice in the video was Harry’s from his previous appearance at the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.
He said: “Hold the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027.”
The statement accompanying the video reads: “As we look back on an extraordinary year for the #InvictusGames Foundation, this film celebrates the moments that defined our community in 2025.
“From global programs that strengthened recovery to events that connected nations and families, we have seen the power of service and sport change lives and save lives.”
At the end of the message, Harry’s spokesperson expressed his gratitude to “nations, supporters, partners and of course wounded and ill military personnel and veterans” for being an inspiration and making the Invictus community proud.
“Your resilience and spirit have carried us through another unforgettable year. Here’s to continued recovery. Here’s to lasting impact. Here’s to @birmingham_2027. Here’s to the Invictus community,” the note read.
It is important to mention that Prince Harry’s video, in which he excitedly announces his return to the United Kingdom, was released at the same time that the Duke of Sussex was accused of plotting secret games.
For those who don’t know, Harry is currently awaiting the decision on his taxpayer-funded security after the Home Office asked officials to review his case.
Earlier, Cosmopolitan quoted an insider as saying it was not just about restoring security, but also about “creating a fully functioning royal court in Britain” in order to “compete” with his brother, Prince William, and regain his position in his homeland.
