Prince Harry wrote a sweet letter to the tattoo artist Joshua Lord, expressing his gratitude to him in a handwritten note to discreetly take care of the attention of the media.
The Duke of Sussex visited the ink on the eastern side of New York last year, when he sparked speculation to find out if Harry had made a tattoo.
However, it was later revealed that Harry only filmed a sketch for the 2025 Invictus games.
In the letter, dated October 17, Harry congratulated Lord for his “skillful dodging” of press issues and expressed his gratitude for allowing the team to use the studio.
He wrote: “Dear Josh, thank you very much for your generosity by offering us your East Side ink space for shooting.”
“It was incredibly nice, and I really liked to meet you and learn more about the story of your shop,” added King Charles’s son.
“I also appreciated your clever manipulation of press issues concerning my visit, it means a lot and I was rather impressed by your skillful dodge! Bravo.”
“They will be shocked when they see the final cup,” he added with playfulness. “Recognizing for your partnership and support for the service of the Invictus community.”
Harry concluding the letter with a sweet invitation, writing: “If you want to come to Vancouver in February, we would like to have you! All the best, Harry.”
This comes in the midst of Harry’s current peace talks with King Charles. Representatives of the Duke and Monarch recently in London for a summit of peace.
