Prince Harry was warned not to skip the marriage of his cousin Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling.
Peter and Harriet, who started going out together last year, announced their commitment last week. The declaration indicated: “Mr. Peter Phillips, the son of HRH the royal princess and Captain Mark Phillips and Mrs. Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr. Rupert Sanders and Ms. Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, confirmed their official commitments today.”
“The two families were jointly informed of the announcement and were delighted with the wonderful news of their commitment,” the statement said.
“Their majesties the king and queen, the prince and princess of Wales were informed of the announcement. No date has been officially set for marriage,” he shared.
While the brothers in quarrel William and Harry generally avoid attending the same functions, the Duke of Sussex was advised by the expert in culture and television presenter Nick Ede which he should attend.
Ede said to Express: “Prince Harry has always been close to Peter Phillips and Harry is known to attend major royal occasions by himself. I think it would be a good thing for his popularity if he is witnessing marriage.”
“If he seeks to become a service with his family, it could be a great way to start healing the fault,” suggested the expert.
“If he does not assist, it will be a little mean and he does not support his cousin during his special day,” he said.
Prince Harry had previously jumped the marriage of Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster and Olivia Henson on June 7, 2024 at Chester cathedral. His brother William was happyly seen attending the wedding. It was also served as a bailiff at the wedding.
