During the royal couple’s recent visit to Northern Ireland, Kate and William made their final stop in the country’s orchard county, County Armagh, which is a “family farm blending” traditional farming methods with modern approaches.

The Prince and Princess of Wales wrote: “End the day at Long Meadow Cider in County Armagh – a family farm combining tradition and innovation to create award-winning ciders and juices!”

“Now three generations strong, the McKeevers are cultivating opportunity and sustainability in the heart of Orchard County. It’s great to see connection and love at the heart of everything they do here,” they continued.

In the carousel shared alongside the post, William and Kate can be seen walking through the apple fields while Kate picked some apples and the couple appeared to be drinking pressed juices from fresh fruit picked at the farm.

The future king and queen even rolled out dough for fresh apple pies.

In a previous post, posted just hours apart, Kate and William revealed they also made a stop at Mallon Farm in County Tyrone, another family farm known for reviving the traditional Irish linen industry.

“From field to fiber to fabric, Helen and Charlie are rebuilding a local, sustainable supply chain that celebrates creativity, collaboration and concern for the environment,” the two owners said of the farm owners.

“A wonderful example of a positive, forward-looking Northern Ireland,” they added.
