These groups work for homeless and disadvantaged young people, whom the future king wishes to bring from the United Kingdom, according to the media.
Daily Telegraph reported that the Prince of Wessex had done several exercises with young people and joked: “You already look like professionals!”
“I might get back into boxing! It’s been a while, a long time actually, but it’s very hard work,” the longtime patron told professional trainer Charlie Beatt.
Centrepoint director Seyi Obakin hailed William as a “true ambassador. The more he gets involved, the more he knows he could be open to criticism.”
“People may say, ‘Oh, you live in a palace, what do you know about this situation,’ but he listens. He can be the change,” he noted.
