Prince William would have been deeply frustrated after finding himself near Prince Andrew during the funeral of the Duchess of Kent.
Despite the efforts to avoid being seen with his controversial uncle, the Prince of Wales was photographed with him during the funeral.
According to sources, William was caught by the Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson unexpectedly in the service.
While most members of the royal family have maintained a respectful and dark tone, Andrew was photographed with a smile and seeming relaxed, which only added to discomfort.
The mirror reported that Royal Author Andrew Lownie said that “William, for his part, was” furious “to be ambushed in this way, according to friends.”
“He had a hard time distant from his uncle and not being photographed with him,” he added.
“He thinks that his father did not deal with him with sufficient firmness and thatrew – and Sarah Ferguson – did a lot to undermine the good job of other members of the royal family.”
