Prince William left royal fans laughing with his funny response to a compliment thrown by a woman when he left Glasgow with his wife Kate Middleton.
“You are beautiful Kate, you too William,” said one of the women among the crowd who had gathered to have an overview of the royal couple.
The woman seemed to rent William de Curtesy and as a second thought because she took a break after praising her superb wife.
“You don’t have to say that, don’t worry,” said William while continuing to walk alongside his wife, leaving the crowd laughing at his remarks.
The light exchange between Prince William and the woman in the crowd added a touch of humor to the events of the day, which were also marked by the gravity and meaning of the name of the HMS Glasgow.
Princess Catherine, who was appointed sponsor of the HMS Glasgow in June 2021, played a key role in the ceremony for the anti-sous-marine frigate type 26.
Catherine also broke a bottle of whiskey against the ship’s hull during the ceremony.
