Prince William was reportedly the loudest voice pushing King Charles to take action against his brother, the ex-Prince Andrew, after weeks of mounting royal pressure.
Talk with Online speed camerasan insider revealed the Prince of Wales was frustrated after Andrew released a statement saying he would “prioritize my duty to my family and my country” while renouncing his honors.
According to the report, many people viewed Andrew’s statement as selfish and this infuriated William.
“He was furious that the king had faked his dealings with Andrew and allowed him to make a statement early, making him appear very honourable,” a source revealed.
Additionally, Queen Camilla also called for decisive action citing risks to the monarchy and an explosive 30-year-old dossier on Andrew and Sarah Ferguson sealed the decision.
They said the Queen Consort was “really upset” after reading Andrew’s statement and urged Charles to take action or risk “irreparable institutional problems”.
