Prince William’s charitable polo game put an end to his link with a donor who would have promised access to him and Kate Middleton in exchange for donations.
Millionaire Minerva Mondejar Steiner, whose World Gallery was a sponsor of the Royal Charity Polo Cup of William, was accused of having sold access to the Prince and the Princess of Wales by The Sunday Times June 28.
In the report, the publication shared a screenshot of an email sent by the Foundation to a private networking group called a small world.
The email offered them a “private audience” with the royal couple in exchange for a donation of $ 27,362 for the Royal Charity Polo Cup.
“As a boss of the Mondejar Foundation, you are invited to support their philanthropic work thanks to a charity donation, in exchange for welcome on this prestigious occasion,” said e-mail, according to the The Sunday Times.
“Hosted in the presence of members of the British royal family, and supported by the Mondejar Foundation, this very exclusive gathering unites personalities of philanthropy, fashion, arts and culture for a truly unforgettable day,” he continued.
The organizers of the Polo Cup of Prince William had concluded a sponsorship agreement with the worldjar Gallery. After the report, they took rapid measures to cut links with the gallery.
