Princess Anne continues royal duties in the midst of King Charles’s health problems

Princess Anne, the royal princess, continued royal duties in the midst of her brother King Charles’s health problems on Thursday.

According to the royal family, at the Buckingham Palace, Princess Anne was reunited with the Quad Rowers who won gold for the GB team at the summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024 because they were presented with their MBES.

Princess Anne is the honorary president of the British Olympic Association.

Palace shared a photo on Instagram and said: “Another medal for Lola Anderson, Hannah Scott, Georgie Brayshaw and Lauren Henry!”

He also said: “The four rowers won gold for @teamgb at the summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024, where they received their medals by the royal princess.

“Yesterday, at the Buckingham Palace, his Royal Highness was brought together with the Quad because they were presented with their MBES – Congratulations to all of you!”

The position of the royal family comes a few hours after King Charles was forced to cancel his appointments for the rest of the day and Friday after undergoing “side effects” of his treatment against cancer.

The palace said: “After a planned medical treatment in progress for cancer this morning, the king experienced temporary side effects which required a short period of observation in the hospital.”
