Meghan Markle and Prince Harry face criticism for having published a new photo of their daughter, Princess Lilibet, to mark her fourth anniversary.
Royal criticism accuse the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, some have accused them of going against their own position on their children, the privacy of Prince Archie and Lilibet.
Lilibet’s fourth anniversary, Meghan visited Instagram to lay black and white images from Lilibet held by Meghan and Harry.
In the new post, the face of Little Lilibet is only slightly visible in toddians, while his baby photos are completely exposed.
Speaking on the question, the royal commentator Angela Levin stressed that the couple had previously said that they wanted to keep their children in the spotlight.
She wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “they wanted intimacy and to keep their children out of the attention”.
“And certainly did not show the face of their daughter slightly hidden by her mother’s hair,” she added.
“It’s them, or just her, but they have broken their own rules.”
Meanwhile, Meghan also caused an online agitation when she shared a dancing video of herself and Prince Harry while being strongly pregnant with Lilibet just before her birth.
Although the comments on the publication are disabled, the video was shared by other media and fans publications.
On one of the messages, a critic wrote: “Is it the intimacy they asked for?” With another added: “What a fall in grace for Harry”.
“They try so much to be relatable and everything seems so false”, a third comment with an adding, “cringing teeth for all royal”.
However, some fans of Meghan and Harry came to their defense and expressed their love for the couple.
“I love them both for their ability to be real. I just don’t understand why people don’t like them. Diana would be so proud of them,” wrote one of them.
