Lahore:
A masterful court extended on Tuesday the pre -trial detention of Youtuber Saadur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, for four more days in a case linked to the promotion of online game applications.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) produced the accused before the legal magistrate Naeem Wattoo after the completion of his two -day pre -trial detention.
NCCIA officials asked the maintenance to continue the interrogation, the court granted.
Ducky Bhai was arrested early Sunday at Lahore airport following a FIR tabled by the NCCIA under the 2016 law on the prevention of electronic crimes, and the relevant sections of the Pakistan Criminal Code.
The case was recorded on August 17 under articles 13 (electronic counterfeit), 14 (electronic fraud), 25 years (spam) and 26 (usurpation) of PECA, as well as articles 294-B (offering a price in relation to the trade) and 420 (cheating and dishonest realization of the property) of the PPC.
According to the FIR, the Youtuber has promoted requests for games and Paris. Applications have collected millions of rupees from users but have committed fraud.
