Rawalpindi:
The founder of the PTI, Imran Khan, decided to expel ten legislators who were absent on the day of the 26th amendment, according to the party initiates.
The only exception to the decision is Zain Qureshi, while all the others were ordered to be withdrawn from the party.
Sources have said that critical decisions had been made in Adiala prison, where Imran transmitted a clear message to the senior party officials, asking them to initiate the expulsion of the absent legislators.
He also ordered that an official notification be issued to finalize their withdrawal. Stressing his position, Imran said that those who chose to disappear as crucial one day had no place in the party.
The legislators who did not appear on the day of the vote are senator Zarqa Suharwardy, the Senator Faisal Saleem, Zain Qureshi, Aslam Ghuman, Riyaz Fatyana, Miqdad Ali Khan, Aurangzeb Kichi, Zahor Qurehi, Usman Ali and Mubarak Zaib.
While Zain Qureshi was also absent, he was exempt from the expulsion.
PTI had previously published proof of proof to several of these members, notably Aslam Ghuman, Riyaz Fatyana, Zain Qureshi and Miqdad Ali Khan, for not having participated in the voting process.
Aurangzeb Khichi had also received an opinion, while Zahor Qureshi, Usman Ali and Mubarak Zaib would have been completely out of contact with the party that day.
