Islamabad:
The head of the opposition of the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, sent six names of the opposition to the President Ayaz Sadiq for the formation of a parliamentary committee for the selection of a new commissioner in the elections (CEC) and two members of the Pakistan Electoral Commission (ECP).
Ayub shared a letter dated June 2, 2025 on social networks, “naming opposition members for the parliamentary committee as part of the selection process of the chief electoral commissioner and members of Pakistan (member of Baloutchistan and member of the Sindh)”.
