Islamabad:
Up to eight newly elected Senators of KP – including three of the PTI – took an oath on Thursday, while Murad Saeed de Pti did not appear for the oath because he remains in freedom.
The president of the Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, administered the oath and obtained the signatures of the new members, officially introducing them to the upper room of the Parliament.
Those who have taken oath include senators PTI Faisal Javed, Noor-Ul-Haq Qadri and Mirza Muhammad Afridi; PPP Senators Rubina Khalid and Talha Mehmood; As well as Niaz Ahmed, Dilawar Khan and Atta-Uul-Haq.
