On Wednesday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) sent a file and a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), detailing “undeniable evidence of a generalized electoral rigging during the general elections of 2024”.
“The letter and the files are delivered to the IMF mission in Islamabad,” wrote the head of the opposition to the National Assembly Omar Ayub on X.
A copy of the letter and the file, and Pattan’s report to the 2024 general elections were also sent to the Chief of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi, he added.

“The systematic manipulation of the democratic process is obvious across the country, undermining the very principles of justice, free will and constitutional governance,” he added.

The letter intervened one day after the IMF’s technical mission met the Yahya Afrida Yahya Afridi to examine the judicial framework in the context of the prolonged $ 7 billion (EFF).

“Pakistan electoral audit”
This is not the first time that the former besieged power party has made a letter to the world lender.
Last year, in February, the PTI declared that he had sent a letter to the question to the Pakistan representative of the IMF to ensure an audit of the elections of February 8 before speaking more rescue with Islamabad.
“We have sent this letter to the IMF today,” said party president Gohar Khan, at a press conference in Islamabad.
The letter called on the IMF to honor its commitment to require free and fair elections.
