“We are not asking for a commission composed of judges of our choice, but of the most senior judges of the Supreme Court who can carry out an investigation and identify those responsible for the two incidents,” he explained.

Raza further noted that the PTI was ready for the third round of negotiations, but stressed that the government needed to take practical steps on its two main demands: establishment of the judicial commission and release of detainees.

“We will present these requests in written form. At the third meeting, concrete measures should be taken,” he said.

He also revealed that PTI Negotiating Committee chief Omar Ayub has been fully empowered by Imran Khan to sign the charter of demands, stressing that the party founder will not be personally involved in the decrees.

Addressing the ongoing £190 million landmark case, Raza remarked: “The decision in this case will not improve the country’s reputation.

Neither Imran Khan nor any member of his family are beneficiaries in this case. After the verdict, the tone of negotiations could become more tense. »
