A live televised debate turned chaotic when leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) clashed, exchanging punches and kicks during the emission.

The confrontation took place between PTI’s Naeem Haider Panjotha and PML-N’s Ikhtiar Wali Khan during a political talk show of a private television channel.

Videos of the fight went viral on social media, attracting widespread attention.

The altercation began with an exchange of harsh words and accusations.

As tensions escalated, the two leaders engaged in a physical fight, grabbing each other’s collars and punching each other, widely distributed footage shows.

Despite repeated attempts by the show’s host to defuse the situation, the fight continued until the production team intervened.

This is not the first time that Pakistani political leaders have resorted to violence during live debates. In previous incidents, PML-N Senator Afnan Ullah and PTI MP Sher Afzal Marwat, as well as the now deceased PTI’s Naeem-ul-Haq and PML-N’s Daniyal Aziz, were involved in on-air altercations.

Social media users reacted strongly to the incident, with many criticizing the lack of decorum and professionalism displayed by politicians.
