Lahore:
The members of the Punjab Assembly of the Treasury benches criticized the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government on Saturday a bloody incident of the death of tourists in Swat.
They also accused the opposition in the Assembly of adopting immature conduct.
The treasury legislators said that the KP government had played the role if a silent spectator when family members, including children, lost their lives while crying.
Punjab Minister of Information, Azma Bukhari, succeeded in the KP government, saying that tourists from all over Pakistan visited the Swat river, but it was surprising that appropriate arrangements had not been taken to deal with such a possibility.
The members prayed for those who are martyred in the incident.
President Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan said he was as far as he understands the logic of KP chief, Ali Amin Gandapur concerning the incident.
Syed Ali Haider Gillani, parliamentarian of the People’s Party, Syed Ali Haider Gillani, praised the repeated mention of the southern Punjab in the speech of chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, saying that the region is among its priorities, which is a good omen.
The opposition legislator entered the house in silence and left after a short duration.
Whip, Whip Rana Arshad, Whip Rana Arshad, the Muslim League of Pakistan (PML-N) presented a resolution, which was adopted, condemning the SWAT incident and demanding the resignation of the KP Minister-in and Investigation of the issue to set responsibility and concrete measures to avoid such accidents.
