The Punjab fauna department has recovered four nets of nets and issued three Challans, imposing fines worth RS55,000 in Chiniot.
The Punjab fauna department has intensified its repression on the scale of the province of illegal hunting of animals and wild birds, with multiple operations leading to arrests, convulsions, heavy fines and the recording of cases.
According to a departmental spokesperson, the campaign is carried out under the supervision of the head of the fauna of the Ranger Mubeen Elahi.

A FIR was deposited in Okara against two people accused of illegally hunting quail. In Multan, officials confiscated 13 nets of nets, arrested three suspects and deposited a fir during the raids. In Jhang, two nets of nets were taken and two Challans were issued, with a fine of 30,000 rupees imposed in one case.

Similar actions were carried out in Vehari, Khanewal and Attock, where several offenders were penalized under the provisions of the Wildlife Act.

In addition, in an important operation against the poaching of Partridge, three hunters were sentenced to a fine of 70,000 rupees.
Reaffirming the ministry’s commitment, the spokesman said that the fauna protection teams remain active through Punjab and will continue to pursue strict legal action against people involved in illegal hunting and trapping.
