Punjab obtains the first child protection policy

The Punjab cabinet has approved the province’s first complete childhood protection policy.

This policy developed by the Child Protection and Protection Office with the technical support of UNICEF Pakistan has been described as a new reference for child protection, marking a transformative stage towards the implementation of violence, abuse, exploitation and negligence against children in communities.

Politics, according to the president of the CPWB, serves as a complete roadmap for child protection mechanisms through Punjab. This is the culmination of the efforts that started more than two years ago with the submission of the project to the original service. Case management activities as part of the political framework have been underway for more than a year.

Chairing the meeting of the cabinet which took 101 articles on the agenda, the chief minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif also announced a plan aimed at reducing power prices in order to relieve the people maximum.

This is the second time that a province has played electric prices which are originally a federal subject. Once implemented, Punjab will have become the first province to voluntarily reduce electricity prices.

The chief minister approved the reduction in the prices of Punjab electricity companies. In the direction of chief minister Maryam Nawaz, prices can be reduced by 30 to 40%.

The provincial cabinet has approved the reduction in prices for Quaid-i-Azam and Punjab Thermal Power Private Limited.

To approach the grievances of the provinces, the farmers, the chief minister said that a huge package was going to be given to wheat producers.

He was informed during the meeting that the payment of 5,000 rupees per acre was completed at 514,000 wheat farmers.

Payment will be made once the verification process of 500,000 other farmers completed.

An allowance of 63 billion rupees was provided in the second phase through the Kisan card and the farmers bought fertilizers worth 18 billion rupees.

The cabinet approved the chief minister Wheat Program 2025.

Continuing with the tradition of the provincial government PML-N of creating layers on strata of companies and authorities, the firm has approved the creation of the private limited company Air Punjab.

The CM set the target of launching Air Punjab within one year.

She ordered immediate steps to close the vaping centers in the province. She also ordered the authorities to ensure that workers’ security equipment has attributed to the Labor Department the objective of implementing workers for workers within one month.

The provincial office has approved rationing cards for workers and minors registered with the Labor Department and the supply of electric buses in nine Punjab divisions.

The CM has issued directives to establish load terminals in all large cities as soon as possible.

Ecotourism projects have been approved for Changa Manga and Lal Sohanra parks.
