The Punjab House department has requested the deployment of Pakistani army units and Rangers to ensure the safety of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) games in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan.
To guarantee infallible security, the staff of the army and the Rangers were invited to help the police.
For Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan, a wing of Rangers and two Pakistani army companies were requested for each location.
In addition, the services of special service commandos (SSG) and army aviation helicopters were also requested in the three sites.
The matches of the 10th edition of the Super League HBL Pakistan should take place from April 11 to May 18.
Infallible security arrangements will be in place during the matches, team accommodation and trips to Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan.
Security arrangements for the qualification of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup
The Punjab House department has also requested the deployment of Pakistani army staff and rangers for the security of the ICC Cricket World Cup.

ICC World Cup qualification matches should take place in Lahore. Six women’s teams participate in the World Cup qualification tournament.
The participating teams include Pakistan, Bangladesh, Scotland, Ireland, the Antilles and Thailand. Army and Rangers staff were invited to provide security services until April 20.
The Department of the Punjab House officially submitted a request to the Federal Interior Ministry for the deployment of army and Rangers personnel.
