Punjab Minister of Punjab, Azma Bokhari, announced two major infrastructure projects on Saturday – the launch of a provincial airline named Air Punjab and the first high -speed train from Pakistan from Lahore to Rawalpindi – while strongly criticizing India leaders on tensions in Kashmir.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Bokhari described the airline and high -speed rail as “historical initiatives” by a provincial government.
“Air Punjab will initially rent four planes and operate at the national level. In one year, we hope to acquire an international air license, “she said.
She also announced a high -speed train project between Lahore and Rawalpindi, declaring that the route will cover the distance in just 2 hours and 20 minutes. Additional roads across the province are also planned.
“It is the first time in the history of Pakistan that a provincial government has launched its own network of airlines and high -speed train,” said Bokhari. A glass train between Rawalpindindi and Mrier is also in the pipeline, she added.
Turning to Indian-Pakistani relations, Bokhari condemned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Moda, accusing him of following the “Israeli tactics” in cashmere and of having tried to destabilize the region by operations of false flag.
Referring to a recent incident in the Maelgam region of the cashmere administered by the Indians, she rejected the Indian allegations of Pakistani involvement and described it as a pre-Planified story of New Delhi.
“Modi tries to transform cashmere into another Gaza. India is no longer a democracy-it has become the largest field of murder in the world for Muslims and minorities,” she said.
Bokhari recalled Jaffar Express’s terrorist attack in Pakistan, declaring that India had never condemned the incident despite clear evidence. She said that the Pakistani army had quickly neutralized the attackers and saved hostages.
Slamant Indian water threats, Bokhari warned that any India’s attempt to stifle the water supply from Pakistan under the Indus Water Treaty would be greeted by serious reprisals.
“The Industry Water Treaty is not a tea stand to dismantle.
She described Modi as a “global terrorist” and said that each time he came to power, world peace is deteriorating.
“The wars are not won by arms, but by the spirit of sacrifice. If the state declares jihad, each Pakistanis becomes a soldier,” she said.
The Minister concluded by calling for national unity and preparation in the face of Indian assault, recalling that Pakistan had responded decisively in the past, including nuclear tests in 1998 after the provocations of India.
