Saint Petersburg: President Vladimir Putin refused to talk about the assertions that Israel and the United States could try to kill the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

He said that the Iranian people were next to their leaders in Tehran.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu openly hypothesized that the military attacks of Israel could lead to a change of diet in Iran, while US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the United States knew where Khamenei “hid” but Washington was not going to kill him “for the moment”.

Asked about his reaction if Israel had killed Khamenei with the help of the United States, Putin said: “I don’t even want to discuss this possibility. I don’t want.”

When he pressed, Putin admitted to having heard the comments on killing Khamenei but repeated that he did not want to discuss it.

“We see that today in Iran, with all the complexity of the internal political processes that take place there … that there is a consolidation of the company through the political leaders of the country,” Putin told the publishers of senior press agency in the Russian city in northern Saint Petersburg.

Putin said that all parties should seek ways to end hostilities in a manner that has assured both Iran’s law with peaceful nuclear energy and Israel’s right to the unconditional security of the Jewish state.

Putin spoke while Trump has kept the world to guess if the United States would join the bombing by Iranian nuclear and missile sites, while the Iranian capital residents sank from the city on the sixth day of the air assault.

He said he had been in contact with Trump and Netanyahu, and that Moscow had shared his ideas on the resolution of the conflict while guaranteeing Iran’s continuous access to Civil Nuclear Energy.

Iranian nuclear installations

Asked about the prospect of a regime change in Iran, Putin said that before embarking on such a path, it is necessary to assess whether the main objective was really achieved.

He added that the Uranium Uranium Uranium installations had remained intact.

“These underground factories, they exist, nothing has happened to them,” said Putin.

“It seems to me that everyone would be suitable for seeking ways to end hostilities and finding paths for all parties to this conflict to reach an agreement,” he said. “In my opinion, in general, such a solution can be found.”

When asked if Russia was ready to provide Iran with modern weapons to defend itself against Israeli strikes, Putin said that the strategic partnership treaty signed with Tehran in January did not include military cooperation and that Iran had not submitted any official assistance request.

Russian Foreign Deputy Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Wednesday that Moscow urged the United States not to hit Iran, warning that such an action would radically destabilize the Middle East.

A spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also warned that Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear installations were likely to trigger a nuclear disaster.

Putin said that Israel had assured Moscow that Russian specialists helping to build two additional reactors at the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran would not be injured in any air strike.

He added that Moscow had “a very good relationship with Iran” and that Russia could protect the interests of Iran in the field of nuclear energy.

Russia has proposed to take uranium enriched with Iran and provide nuclear fuel for its civil energy program.

“It is possible to ensure the interests of Iran in the field of peaceful nuclear energy and at the same time, to respond to the concerns of Israel concerning its security,” said Putin. “We have described them (our ideas) to our partners in the United States, Israel and Iran.”
