Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has planned the wind storm and the activity of the rain storm in the upper and central parts of the country on May 27 (night) on May 31, with occasional gaps.
The ministry said that wet currents are entering continuously into the upper and power -covered regions, while a West wave is likely to enter the country’s upper parts on May 28, triggering generalized meteorological activity.
Under the influence of this meteorological system, wind storms and rain thunderstorms with heavy showers and isolated hailstorms are expected in a large strip in the country.
The affected areas include azad cashmere, gilgit-baltistan, Islamabad, rawalpindi, Mirrier and the region of Galliyat.
In Punjab, the forecasts cover Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mianwali, Sargodha, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Okara, Lahore, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Gujranwala, Gujrat and Sheikhupura.
