Rains, seeds disturbing the calendar of trains

Lahore:

Due to heavy rains throughout the country and other technical problems, passengers looking to travel by train must wait in stations for hours until they can take a train.

Many trains from top to bottom were faced with delays on Wednesday while the ministry had to face the emergency situation.

On Wednesday, Pakistan railways announced changes to the calendar of several trains starting from Lahore for Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi and other large cities, citing operational delays.

According to the office of the divisional Superintendent in Lahore, the Karakoram Express for Karachi (42-Dow) will leave an hour late, leaving Lahore at 4:00 p.m. instead of 3:00 p.m.

The Karachi Express (16-Down) will experience a significant delay of 3 hours and 45 minutes, starting at 9:45 p.m. rather than its location scheduled at 6:00 p.m.

The Green Line (6-Down), which arrives from Margalla and continues in Karachi, will leave Lahore at 9:35 p.m., a period of 45 minutes of its original calendar at 8:50 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Millat Express for Karachi (18-Dow) of Faisalabad will take place 3 hours and 40 minutes late, leaving at 9:30 p.m. instead of 5:50 p.m.

Pak Business Express (34-Down) and Shah Hussain Express (44-Dow) are hosted in alternative trains for today, have confirmed the managers of the railways.

All the other trains for Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi and other destinations work according to their scheduled schedules.

Divisional Superintendent Railways Lahore, Inamullah, ordered passenger facilitation personnel who stayed at the station at any time to help travelers.

Passengers are advised to request additional advice and real-time updates by contacting the rail survey on 042-117 or 042-99070011.
