Raja Basharat de Pti briefly detained

Rawalpindi:

The former minister of Law Punjab and the main leader of the PTI, Raja Basharat, was arrested and then released by the police. He went to appear before an electoral court when New Town police arrested him as part of the PTI protest of November 26.

His lawyer, lawyer Sardar Abdul Razzaq, informed the police that provisional sureties had already been granted to Bacharat in all related cases.

However, the police insisted for arresting orders.

Later, a group of lawyers arrived at the New Town police station, where they presented release documents on deposit and surety documents for all relevant cases.
