Ravens players turn to the Olympic legend Michael Phelps for swimming instructions

While many Baltimore Ravens players have certainly excelled on football grill, some of the NFL athletes apparently have trouble in the swimming pool.

After the defensive back Marlon Humphrey and some of his Ravens teammates admitted that they did not swim, the team turned to a local expert to get advice.

Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time, certainly knows one or two about swimming techniques.

Humphrey has published a video on social networks calling for the retired and native Baltimore swimmer to lend a hand to the city’s football team. The video showed Humphrey, Kyle Hamilton safety, the offensive platform Ronnie Stanley and the brought winger Charlie Kolar in the pool.

“Did you know that in three Ravens cannot swim,” said Hamilton in the video.

“Come to the Ravens training camp in this magnificent aquatic center and teach us to swim,” adds Humphrey.

Phelps seemed ready for the idea, answer: “I got you !!! let’s do it !!”

Kolar said after training on Wednesday that he did not realize that Humphrey was going to publish the video.

“I should have known. This is the brand,” said Kolar. “I thought it was going to be like a story or maybe send him, but I should have known better. I should have known better.”

Phelps won 23 gold medals during his Olympic career. He was selected as a standard-bearer for the United States team at the opening ceremony of the 2016 summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
