Rebecca Gayheart, the Jawbreaker The star, who is still married to Eric Dane, was spotted on a date with businessman Peter Morton.
Gayheart and Dane split in 2018, but the Scream 2 The actress rejected his divorce filing, and shortly after, Dane revealed that he had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
They share two daughters, Billie Beatrice and Georgia Geraldine.
After their broken marriage, Gayheart and Morton first sparked relationship rumors in 2023 when they were spotted out to dinner in Los Angeles where they appeared to be on a double date with Claudia Schiffer and her husband, director Matthew Vaughn.
The couple maintained a low-key relationship, away from the limelight.
Recently, they were spotted at a pre-Oscars dinner in March 2025 and on a date on December 3.
The couple makes rare public appearances as Gayheart navigates her “complicated” relationship with Dane.
Earlier this year, Gayheart admitted on the Broad Ideas podcast with Rachel Bilson and Olivia Allen: “I’m really trying to show [my daughters] that we show up for people no matter what. And he is our family, he is your father.
Gayheart added that the dynamic is “super complicated.”
While Gayheart attempts to smooth over relationship dynamics, Morton has been influential behind the scenes in Hollywood.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Morton helped finance the independent film Lock, stock And Two smoking barrelswhich launched the career of director Guy Ritchie. He also helped finance Ritchie’s 2000 film, To tear out.
