RemixPoint (3825), a Japanese energy consulting company which decided to constitute cryptocurrency reserves, increased its assets by more than 8,000% during the nine months completed on December 31 and is now on the point D ‘Having spent its target of 10 billion yen ($ 65 million).
The company based in Tokyo held 5.8 billion yen ($ 38 million) of crypto at the end of the year, compared to 68 million on March 31. Current value of its assets.
While RemixPoint focuses on the energy consulting firm, it has recently expanded to provide cryptocurrency transaction services after starting to invest in Bitcoin (BTC) as a coverage against damping of the Japanese currency. It is the same strategy as Metaplanet, a Japanese investment company whose BTC investment program announced last April sent its action on several thousand percent.
The share of the RemixPoint investment lion was allocated to Bitcoin while the company has also invested in ether (ETH), XRP and Dogecoin (DOGE).
The investment revealed in the report on tax profits in the third quarter which experienced a profit of 1.35 billion yen and an unrealized gain of 658 million on its participations of cryptocurrency. From November 2024, the company began to recognize the evaluation gains and losses on its cryptocurrency participations within the framework of income.
The company has increased its accumulation of cryptocurrency given the gathering of cryptocurrency prices since Donald Trump’s victory in the American presidential elections, bringing a more user-friendly regulatory environment for the cryptographic industry.
The actions of the company have increased by more than 360% since Trump’s electoral victory. Since then, the company has accelerated its accumulation of cryptography, more than quadruple its Bitcoin assets at 125.2 BTC.
Remixpoint shares dropped 15% on Friday, while the wider Nikkei 225 index dropped by 0.79%.
