Los Angeles Sparks star Rickea Jackson seemed to raise eyebrows in the first round of the NFL draft.
Videos circulated on social networks Thursday evening which apparently showed the 24 -year -old WNBA player, sitting next to the former Tennessee football star James Pearce Jr.
A few moments after the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, went to the podium of the repechage scene in Green Bay to announce that the Falcons of Atlanta used the 26th overall choice to select Pearce, the cameras went to the Rusher in North Carolina.

Jackson seemed to smile, wrap an arm around Pearce and rub the leg while the football player’s family and friends celebrated the special moment.
Rumors on a romance between Jackson and Pearce are running for over a year. The two athletes attended the University of Tennessee.

Jackson finally had the wind of viral videos and turned to X to make an answer to the chatter.
“Soooo I have a double. Wow,” she wrote on X late Friday evening.
The position attracted more than 1.7 million views on Friday afternoon.
Jackson’s response encountered a certain skepticism, while others noticed the apparent humor in the message of the Sparks star.

The Jackson NCAA basketball career began in the state of Mississippi. She was finally transferred to Tennessee, where she became celebrity during her two seasons as a member of the Lady Vols. The Sparks drafted Jackson in the first round in 2024. She collected an average of 13.4 points per game during her recruit season of the WNBA.
The Falcons had the second lowest bag of the NFL last season last. Pearce finished his last season with Tennessee with 7½ bags.

But the Falcons abandoned significant recovery capital to resume the first round Thursday evening to choose Pearce.
Atlanta sent the choices of the Los Angeles Rams in the second round and the seventh round in this year’s draft and the selection of the team in the first round in 2026. In addition to the rights of the 26th choice in total, the Rams sent their third round choice to the Falcons.
