Hudson interrupted the interview to stop a question about how the couple had met, and according to reports, she interrupted several times and even stormed at some point, delaying the interview of about 30 minutes.
Belichick published a statement saying that he was “surprised” to get questions about his relationship and that Hudson intervened, she had done her job. He then accused CBS to create a “false story” with so-called “selectively modified clips”.

“When we agreed to speak with Mr. Belichick, it was for a big interview,” said the company. “There was no prerequisite or limitation to this conversation. This was confirmed several times with its publisher before the interview took place and after its end.”
