“So here’s what I’m going to say. I honestly want to challenge AOC to a debate,” Gaines said. “She can stand for socialism. I will stand for capitalism. She can stand for eliminating God. I stand for adopting a biblical worldview. She can stand for child sacrifice. I will stand for the sanctity of life. Any of the radical, crazy Democratic policies they stand for, I will argue the opposite and I challenge AOC here.”
PK Press Club Digital reached out to Ocasio-Cortez for comment, but the argument continued on social media.
Ocasio-Cortez later responded, “And I would like to challenge this person to get a real job.”
Gaines fired back at Ocasio-Cortez.
“It’s comical considering this is coming from someone whose own party shut down the government and left you technically…unemployed. And I guess I’ll take that as a no (which is normal when your positions are indefensible on virtually every issue),” she wrote on X.
“I have a real job. I’m a mom. It’s the most important and rewarding job in the world. I think if you had a little girl like me, you’d understand my positions a little better.”
Gaines posted a photo featuring Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, and New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. Gaines wrote: “We are destroyed from within. »

Ocasio-Cortez responded, “Maybe if you had channeled all that anger into swimming faster, you wouldn’t have come fifth.”
“His position is morally bankrupt and politically insane. For clarity, yes, I finished fifth in the nation at the Division I national championships, tied with a 6-foot-4 man who placed 462nd in the men’s division the year before,” Gaines said. “It was like an episode of ‘South Park,’ but in real life. And which side do AOC and the rest of the Democratic Party take? They take the 6-foot-4 man who showed his junk to women in the locker room – that’s whose side they take.
