Twelve times the All-Americaan swimmer from the NCAA Riley Gaines and her husband Louis Barker await their first child together.
Gaines confirmed the news to PK Press Club Digital on Saturday, adding that the couple will welcome a little girl in September.

“Surprise! We are 26 weeks pregnant,” she said in an article on Instagram. “God is so good all the time.”

Outkick host “Gaines for girls” The podcast married Barker in 2022 and they celebrated their three -year wedding anniversary on May 22.
Gaines was an ardent defender of female athletes during the debate on transgender athletes who participate in the sports of girls and women. She recently clashed with seven covers Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles On a minnesota softball team which won a state championship behind the performance of a trans player.
In response to the criticisms of sheaths with regard to a social media position, renting the championship team, Biles published a message calling “really sick” sheaths for its position on trans athletes. She even launched a personal attack on the physical appearance of sheaths.

Olympian Simone Biles faces a fierce reaction after a confrontation with Riley Gaines on the Debate of Trans athletes
“You are really sick, all these campaigns because you have lost a race. Straight Up Loser,” said Biles, referring to Gaines in competition with the former swimmer of Upenn Lia Thomas at the NCAA 2022 championships.
“You should raise the Trans community and perhaps find a way to make sports inclusive or create a new avenue where trans people feel safe in sport. Perhaps a transgender category in all sports !! but instead … you intimidate them … One thing is certain is only no one in sport is safe with you !!!!!”
The position has become viral on social networks, with biles adding another article, “Bully someone of your own size, which would be ironically a man”.

Gaines spoke to the remark of body shame during a speech at the top of the young women of Turning Point USA in Texas on Saturday, where she announced for the first time her pregnancy.
“How many men do you know that,” said sheaths by showing his bump and sharing ultrasound on stage. Barker also joined Gaines on stage to talk about the fascinating news of the new edition to their family.
“The next generation for which our little girl is going to be part of, who is for whom you all fight and for whom Turning Point is fighting. And therefore a future father, thank you, continue to fight … and thank you,” he said.
Biles then apologized to Gaines and said that it “did not defend policies that compromise equity in female sports”. Gaines responded by accepting the apology and inviting Olympian to join the effort “to support fair sports and a future for female athletes”.
