The legend of Tennis Martina Navratilova clearly indicated that her fight to maintain the women’s sports fair is larger than the side of the aisle on which she stands politically.

While Simone Biles launched a personal attack on Riley Gaines in apparent defense of transgender athletes in female and girls sports, Navratilova supported the former NCAA All-American on this issue.

“Riley is Maga and I could not disagree with her more on politics, but to keep sports safe for girls and women, I agree with her (100%),” wrote Navratilova on X on Saturday. “Like most people, Republicans, Democrats and everything else do it too.”

Navratilova clearly indicated in the past that it was not part of President Donald Trump, and a rapid analysis of his publications on social networks would underline this. However, she deplored the inaction of democrats on the issue of transgender athletes participating in female and girls sports.

When Trump signed a decree to ban organic and girls’ organic sports, she sent a fierce message to the Democratic Party.

“I hate that Democrats have completely failed women and girls about this very clear problem of being female sporting for women only,” she wrote in an article on X.

She also expressed her frustration in January when the House of Representatives adopted the protection of women and girls in sport. Only two Democrats voted with the Republicans on the bill.

“More DEMS must intervene here. I know that many of those who agree but who are afraid to speak because of the re-election. I say doing the right thing. Ask a spine,” she wrote on X.

While the conversation around Biles and the Outkick host is raging, Navratilova does not seem to go back from its position.
