Robert Pattinson has responded to fan comments about his film released almost two decades ago.
In a recent translated interview with GQ Spainhe spoke candidly about the fan reaction during the Dusk series.
“I love that people keep telling me, ‘Man, ‘Twilight’ ruined the vampire genre,'” the Hollywood actor began by saying.
Reflecting on his first Twilight Moviereleased in 2008, Pattinson continued: “Are you still stuck on this shit?”
“How can you be sad about something that happened almost 20 years ago? It’s crazy.”
Dusk is an adaptation of the novel by Stephenie Meyer which was about a teenager named Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, who fell in love with a vampire, Edward Cullen, played by Pattinson.
Previously, the 38-year-old actor spoke about his efforts for the film and told the outlet, “I wanted to make it as artistic as possible.”
“We had this weird tension where the studio was afraid of doing things that were a little too emo and all that. I thought that was the only way to play.”
