Robert Pattinson, an American actor, is set to make an appearance on the popular Korean reality TV show, Running Man.
He recently attended a press conference at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall, Seoul, for his upcoming film Mickey 17.
The cast of Running Man were also spotted in the area, leading fans to speculate whether Pattinson would appear on the show.
A representative of the series quickly responded to the rumors: “Robert Pattinson is not appearing as an official guest. He happened to pass by the filming location of “Running Man” and made a brief appearance. The episode [featuring this moment] will be broadcast on February 9.
The actor is currently in the middle of a promotional tour for his film, which is a sci-fi film. It’s made by the mind behind the Oscar-winning film ParasiteBong Joon Ho.
“A disposable employee is sent on a human expedition to colonize the ice world of Niflheim. After an iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of its memories intact,” the synopsis reads.
Mickey 17 also stars veteran actor Mark Ruffalo, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette as well as Naomi Ackie. It is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on March 7.
