Unidentified disbelievers have targeted the residence of a special assistant from the Prime Minister on tribal affairs MNA Mubarak Zeb with a rocket in the first hours of Saturday in the Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the police, a rocket was fired at the MNA residence; However, no victim has been reported.
Taking its handle X, the help of the PM said: “Again, my house was attacked by disbelievers during the night with a rocket. Thank God, there are no victims.”
It is relevant to mention here that it was the second attack on the residence for the help of the PM for a period of the last two months. Last month, an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded outside his residence, partially damaging the house.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif strongly sentenced the rocket attack on Zeb’s residence.
According to a spokesperson, the Prime Minister expressed a deep concern in the face of the incident and thanked Allah all-powerful that no loss of life occurred during the attack.
He said such acts of violence were unacceptable and aimed to destabilize peace in the region.
The Prime Minister also ordered the competent authorities to conduct an immediate and in -depth investigation into the incident.
Shehbaz also ordered the rapid arrest of the persons involved in the attack, stressing that the authors must be brought to justice without delay.
The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s determination to eliminate terrorism and ensure the security of public representatives and citizens across the country.
