The World Series champion Roger Clemens addressed the recent conviction of Ryan Wesley Routh, who tried to assassinate President Donald Trump last September on Tuesday.

During an interview on “The Will Cain Show” by PK Press Club, Clemens was asked about his news reaction that Routh was found guilty of all the accusations for the assassination attempt.

“You just have a great deep inspiration,” said Clemens. “I always shake the head of not long ago when, in Pennsylvania, they left crazy in a rally with a golf researcher. I mean that I just head this thing. Like, why do you enter a rally with a golf range?”

Clemens, an open supporter of Trump who became friends with the president and played golf with him in the past, reacted to the fact that Routh tried to assassinate Trump on a golf course while the president played.

“When we have a golf with him for the last time in Virginia, the president has magnificently struck the ball, but it’s a bit intense when you have 30 golf carts and you have Swat teams and secret services all around you,” said Clemens.

“I love him. The reason for which I voted for him is because it is not a meaning, common sense and nonsense. I love it about it.”

Clemens encouraged the Americans who may not agree with Trump to always encourage his success, comparing the opinions of these people from the point of view of former President Barack Obama.

“I did not vote for [Obama]But once he became our president, I would be rooted to do something for us, and that is how I always think that people should come together, “said Clemens.

Roth, 59, was charged with five federal criminal charges, in particular by trying to assassinate a large presidential candidate, by attacking a federal officer and in several infractions of firearms.

After reading the verdict, Roudth would have seemed to try to stab in the neck with a pen before four American marshals hold it back.
