- Roku Pro TV models and more Series get upgrades
- Personalized factory calibration arrives on the Roku Pro series
- The Plus series obtains a LED mini-starter and a multitude of software improvements
Today, streaming Stick and Smart TV Maker Roku have announced a range of improvements for its current models of the Roku Pro and Roku Plus series, as well as a new 85 -inch screen size option for its select serial televisions.
The Roku Pro series, The Budget Choice in our best TVS guide, will now get a personalized factory calibration, a process designed to guarantee that “each TV offers a breathtaking image as soon as the box is released”.
The most significant announced changes concern the Roku series TVs more mid-range, which now have a LED mini-walking. Combined with the QLED display panel on the TV, this should bring the advantages of the brightness and color of the pro series at a much cheaper price. The more the televisions of the series will also obtain Roku Smart Picture Max, a functionality which makes image adjustments on one stage by stage, so you do not have to enlarge with the image parameters.
The TVs in the series more Roku will also obtain a remote search button, introduced for the first time in the pro series. This feature allows you to easily locate a buried remote control between the sofa cushions or left in another room.
In addition, the management of integrated cables of the pro series, a culmination of design that we appreciated in our TV review of the Roku Pro series, is also in migration to the series Plus.
Finally, the full range of Roku TV will now include a Bluetooth headset mode, allowing an easy wireless connection from the TV for private visualization.
A new best low -budget television?
The Roku professional series was among our regular recommendations for viewers who seek to upgrade their television to one with a LED mini-short without having to take an excess credit card debt.
At less than $ 1,000 for a 65 -inch screen size, the pro series is an exceptional value, offering additional advantages such as 4K 120Hz support for the game, an elegant design and, of course, the excellent Smart TV interface of Roku.
With a mini-LED backlight now on the series Plus, with Smart Picture Max, Remote Finder and Integrated Cable Management, we can now have a new low-budget television option.
Roku’s announcement said that more upgraded serial televisions would be available at “the same affordable price”. With the current model of the 65-inch more series at a price of $ 649 (and now selling for $ 499), the new more series should be a convincing value, in the lead with other high-value mini-value televisions such as the Hisense U6N.
We look forward to getting our hands on the new Roku televisions to perform a complete exam. In the meantime, see our cover of new Roku streaming sticks presented during today’s event.
