Farmingdale, ny – Rory McILroy will do everything in his power to make the Americans upset this weekend.
The reigning masters champion will represent the European Bethpage Black team this weekend while playing in his eighth Ryder Cup.
McILroy was one of the last team to win a road Ryder Cup in 2012, and he is surely hoping to repeat the story, in fact, he predicted it shortly after the victory of the American team of Europe two years ago.

However, McILroy spoke of his appreciation for what he called “the best country in the world”.
“Everyone wanted to do it in America,” said McILroy about his reflections on the United States when he was a child. “It is the land of opportunity. And I always think it’s the best country in the world, and if you come here and work hard and you devote, you can be or do what you want.

The European Ryder Cup player did not impress by Trump’s attendance: “Just another spectator”
“I am incredibly grateful and lucky to be able to come to America very early. I think success is celebrated here. I think there is a wonderful feeling of work ethics. And yes, I live here. My wife is American. My daughter is American. I have a lot of affinity for this country, and I think that everyone who lives here should have this same affinity because it is wonderful.”
